    tbh I stopped making DD play with some kids as they were horrid, not really fair to make them play with someone they just don't like by alithealien

    Who cares about etiquette if that child is vile. Obviously your child has a good judge of character. I find the only time it's a problem is if the mum is really nice and you want to meet up with her, then don't make them play together, just in the same room is good enough IMO by soosy

    hmm we have the same problem with a girl hitting my daughter. So far we make up excuses and have caller ID on the phone. I say if you like the Mum just say the children are not getting on and perhaps they need a bit of space. If you dont like the Mum be less subtle ;) and you may get the added bonus of being ignored by the whole family :D by MandaR
