I like the canals, Mile End to Canary Wharf via Regents Canal and Limehouse Basin. Been to Barrier Park? You can get there from Royal Albert DLR on a cycle route that takes you past city airport and the docks, can also go via Isle of Dogs. How about the Greenway from Pudding Mill Lane DLR Station to Victoria Park via the View Tube and a view of the Olympic Park? by Anytar

Yep, there are some great parks for children in Alicante and the beaches to the south of Torrevieja itself are lovely - reminded me of Miami (without the posers). My 2 boys love it. It can get a bit too busy in the summer months though by soosy

I can give specific places worth a visit too. There's a waterpark in torrevieja but I haven't tried it yet. by soosy
