how about vouchers for a beauty treatment - most brides get their nails done at least before the wedding, or (if she's given to planning) a nice scrapbook to keep all the wedding planning in by fionah

Lanterns, fairy lights or rope lighting. It's the festival of light. Some barfi and other Indian sweets. Make lanterns from old tin cans, fill with water and freeze then punch holes in with a hammer and nail, drain water/ice then cover with coloured tissue paper on the outside and place a tea light candle inside and light. by Anytar
