Red, white or rose? I love Majestic wines. They often have good offers on when you buy two bottles the same wine. However, you do need to buy at least 12 bottles (can be all different types). I bought some wonderful rioja from there befroe Christmas, but also the Torres Vina Sol, a good white, was £4.99 a bottle instead of £6.50. I got fantastic service when I ordered online just before Christmas by soosy

The other place I find you can get some good deals on wine is the Co-Op. Waitrose wines are good but are often more than £5 by soosy

Used to work in the wine trade. Oddbins is still a good bet, and their range is broadening out again, as they are no longer a part of Nicolas. Waitrose has a good range, and surprisingly Sainsbury is getting better and you get some good deals and interesting wines there. If you like big red wines, then go for a new world (Oz, Chile), same for their white equivalents. If you prefer more subtle, complex tastes then go for old world wines - Spain, France etc. If you can go upto £6 you're probably going to get a bottle that's actually better calue for money. The actual wine costs about 60p if that, packaging, tax etc makes up the rest - sobering thought that. Depends what takes your fancy though. by guy1067
