I'm really happy with the Mac Air Zeb. Only issue is it can overheat if you're watching videos, not sure if they've fixed that on the new version though. by sim

if you're travelling a lot then the air for sure, just really light and comfortable, if you want to use it for video editing and heavy duty stuff then the pro, the air gets hot too quickly and can be very slow by sim

I tried placing but couldn't get the hang of it. Now I store contacts on the site or service where I interact with them. So twitter, mail, phone etc. Also means I've not got all my eggs in one basket so to speak. by sim

If its just to transfer files then create a network. Go to Finder and Network/Servers you should then see all the MACS that you have in turned on on your network. by Dimbers

Not sure about second hand but the best deals on new Macbooks I've seen have been in the airport at Dixons (no VAT). If you're interested I could get a price for you and pick it up next time I fly back from Madrid which is every week. Let me know :) by sim
