We love a site in St Neots but it's a bit further south than you want maybe. It's riverside, walk either way up the towpath to either a nice pub for sitting outside and eating or up toward town for a nice park, play area and town centre with intersting shops. Dog loves a swim and girls bring nets to (try and) catch the tiny fish in a great paddling spot. by cakeshaped

I'd recommend pizza or pasta, between London Bridge and Tower bridge there's a Strada which is nice and then further down past Tower Bridge there's an Ask, both have river views and are kid friendly. by sim

There's always Festival Hall, usually something going on inside for free. Also a bit further down is Gabriels Wharf, where there's quite a few places to eat as well. by guy1067
