research the company, any press releases, share price, latest news. think of answers to obvious questions like; why do you want this job? what are your strengths/weaknesses? can you tell me about a time when you...lead a team/overcame a difficulty/had to show intiative etc. good luck!! by communityjules

Why your best underwear! OK they don't know you have it on, but you will and it will give you that inner confidence. Make sure you have shiny shoes. by bad_housewife

Practicing in front of a mirror helps more than we think, we are not naturally very self-aware :) I do think that apart from being yourself and not avoiding eye contact, there are 5 questions you would be asked anywhere, would probably be at an early stage and can turn them on or put them off totally: how would you describe yourself, why did you leave your last job/or why are you considering doing it, name 2 or 3 of your most rewarding achievements (personal or professional), what are your short-to-long term career objectives, why should I hire you? by Dolcemomo

Think of examples of things you did/ways you responded to relevant situations and practice them so you can pull them out of the bag without having to sit and think for 20 seconds. by Lucy

studies show it's how you look followed by how you say things that's most important, what you say is often not so important (unless you say something totally odd). my advice is smile lots, look the person in the eye, be confident, and smile some more, good luck! by sim

I think it depends on what the job is for and where. I work in the public sector and tend to go for job interviews in a smart black trouser suit, smart back shoes with mid-heels, light coloured blouse (blue or lilac but not make me look washed out) and a big smile on my face. by soosy
