you could try pre-sliced bananas, here are the instructions, good luck! 1. For each slice, insert the threaded needle through one of the fruit's "corners" (where the edges of the peel meet) and out an adjacent corner, leaving a small tail of thread dangling for later. 2. Insert the needle back through the exit hole you just made and push it through to the next corner, pulling all but a small loop of thread along with it (see diagram). Continue from corner to corner until you return to the beginning, then push the needle out through the first hole you made. 3.Gather the 2 thread ends and carefully pull them out simultaneously; the thread will slice through the banana. Repeat the threading for as many slices as you'd like, then get ready to wow your family with this new breed of snack food. by sim

First, put a walky talky somewhere near the area of where your dog is lying. Go into another room with the other walky talky. Then, when the kids go past say something like..."Hey don't go to school today spend the day with me instead! Hopefully they'll think it's the dog speaking (you may need to disguise your voice). I didn't have much luck with the sliced banana trick - we think because I sliced it at 7:30am and by 10:30 snack time the banana had stuck itself back together. Disappointing but I'll give it another go sometime for more immediate use. by cakeshaped

I don't know if it's because im chinese, but i'd get pokemon. I used to play pokemon on my Nintendo SP and until my GCSE's started, i was still playing on my DSi..Pokemon Pearl, Platinum, Diamond..etc... I think at 3 years old you need to move away from nursery rhymes/ kids cds and move her onto stuff you can tolerate. I would say S club 7 and the such but only if you/ your wife can cope. My boys aged 5 and very nearly 3 love Rodrigo y Gabriela (Mexican guitar music) and dance around to that shouting 'hey' every now and again. Have a watch on youtube/ listen on spotify... by soosy

What makes this particular 3 year old move..? It can be surprising what will stimulate kids into moving, dancing, or singing along. Favourites in our family (with some around that age) have included "Discovery" by Daft Punk, "Picaresque" by the Decemberists (especially the Mariner's Revenge song) and.... Bobby McFerrin. by aedjp
