chicho needs help with I have a new router. I installed it and now I forgot what password I used. As I have a mac and the passwords saved in keychain, I guess I can look there? If so, how to I get there? Can a mac user give me advice?

There is an app on your Mac called Keychain Access.app and it is located in /Applications/Utilities/. If you open this and scroll through the list you should be able to see the one for your router. If you double click that entry and then check the 'show password' box then (after you've authenticated yourself on your Mac) the password will be displayed. by darren

bad_housewife needs help with boilers! Yes, I have a dodgy boiler. Suspect despite grand efforts to keep it alive it has passed on. Recommendations and all wisdom from personal experiences gratefully received on getting a new one (companies to use, brand of boiler etc etc....)

We nit comb conditioner through once a week. As long as we do it regularly they don't seem to reappear. Wish we could have a lice nuking day where every child in the world got treated and eradicated the horrid head pests! by Goosey

Yes, conditioner is supposed to be good. They can't grip on to shiny hair. Also, I think their bodies have sort of capillary action that means conditioner can kill them?? by Siobhan

The ONLY thing that ever worked for my kids is combing, combing and more combing. DO this religiously and you stand a small chance of breaking the cycle. Apart from that, rub in Neem Oil and always rinse their hair with tea made from rosemary - the nits hate these herbs and will be put off jumping on. There is also a wives-tail that eating the nits makes your blood taste unsavoury to live nits. by lesanto
